Emerald City welcomes Irish films

Cead Mile Failte … one hundred thousand welcomes from the Emerald City Irish Film Festival, hosted by the Irish Heritage Club of Seattle.

The Emerald City Irish Film Festival has developed an exciting collaboration with Irish Film Institute's IFI International programme in Dublin, Ireland and Culture Ireland to share Irish film productions from the “Emerald Isle” with the people of the “Emerald City.”

The excitement continues with the coming together of great Irish film and an iconic Seattle theater. We are pleased to announce the home of the Emerald City Irish Film Festival will be the Pacific Science Center IMAX theater located on the Seattle Center grounds. A space that has been home to the Irish Festival for 27 years will now be home to the Irish film festival.

If you were lucky enough to have attended the 2024 Irish film festival, you enjoyed the selected 2024 film lineup, released from Irish production company vaults specifically for our Seattle audiences. Together, we celebrated great Irish films returning to the Emerald City.
